Academic Awards (transfers, Re-admits, Transitions)

The Academic Awards (Transfers, Re-Admits, Transitions) at Indiana Wesleyan University are merit-based scholarships for undergraduate students transferring from another college, returning to IWU after a break in enrollment, or transitioning from another IWU program. The award recognizes previous college academic achievement and provides renewable financial assistance ranging from $4,000 to $11,000 per year. Students are automatically considered for the scholarship upon admission, so no separate application is required. To remain eligible, recipients must enroll full-time, maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), and the award is renewable for up to seven semesters. Eligibility generally requires students to be at least one semester removed from high school and to have completed at least 12 college credits after high school graduation.
