Performance Grant

The Performance Grant supports traditional first-year and transfer students passionate about theatre. Award amounts vary depending on individual talent assessments, audition quality, portfolio strength, and department funding availability. Designed to attract both performance majors (B.F.A./B.A. in Theatre) and non-majors interested in participating in productions, the grant does not mandate a minimum high school GPA threshold for initial consideration. Applicants must complete an audition or technical portfolio review with the Theatre Department faculty to determine eligibility. The grant can typically be combined with Avila's general Academic Scholarships and need-based financial aid up to the total cost of attendance.
